Im living in ct and i want to start school soon for dental assisting but classes at this community college dont start until fall but i want to start soon and then move. which is better? community college is cheaper but it is also farther away than the tech school. what type of schools do dentists prefer? thanks
community college is tunxis and the tech school is porter and chester.

What type of schools do dentist prefer depends on the dentist. What type of hands on experience do either school give? Can you take your core credits (math,english,science, history) classes before fall at the community college? Or maybe a few fun type classes until the fall semester starts. The program may start in the fall at the community college, but that shouldn’t stop you from taking any classes. When do the classes start at the Tech School? If they start earlier, then that may be your best choice. Good Luck
