I might be studying either Nursing, Radiography, or Respiratory Tech. I would take these up online but from what I understand online courses for the medical field usually requires you to hold an “Associate” degree first.

The biggest problem I have about going to school right now is fiancial aid. I have to wait till I’m out of default. I want to become either an X-Ray Tech., a Ultrasound Tech. or a Cardiovascular Tech. I live in NY and the few places that do offer these program, the tuition is about $10,000. I was wondering if anyone knows of a school that does a cheap payment option, company/hospital that does intership/sponseship, scholarship, or a free work base training program, etc. I really need something stable. I dont want to have to wait to next year to start my dreams.

Hi, I have recieved $ 8,000 in vocational rehab school vouchers so that I may use for school, or to help assist in job retraining, since I can not go back to my last job. There are alot of things that I can use this money for, but I am having a hard time deciding what to do. I want to use the money for school, and i’m interested in computers as a choice, but I don’t know where to start.I have general knoledge about computers and know just about enough to get me in trouble, if you know what I mean!
Okay, so my lawyer set me up with this guy who basically tries to help you find training for a job, or a school that will accept my vouchers and train me for a new career. One such agency called me from 300 miles away from where I live, and said that they had recieved information from “the guy” that I needed help. The scetchy thing about this agency is that they said that they could have me schooled in 12 -16 weeks in computer tech somthing, or other, and that I would be employable and ready to go. They also said I could get this all done in the saftey of my own house, via my computer,hmm, and that they would come by at least twice a week to check on my progress. It sounds to me that these people are only interested in my school vouchers and that I will have at best a sub par knowledge at whatever they teach me, kinda like a crash course. So what do you guys think? Does this type of thing really work? what should I ask them?
I am also thinking about Laurus College for the training. I just want to be employable when i’m done with whatever I choose to do. I’m not looking to become rich, just find a good job. Thank you!
Air Force — How do you find out for sure if your tech school qualifies as an extended tech school?

Now, I’ve talked to my recruiter about whether or not spouses are allowed to join you during your tech school and he said yes as long as it was an extended tech school. How long does your schooling have to be before it’s extended, and if it is, when are they allowed to join you after you get there? Thanks!

I’ve seen a couple posters mention these via links, but are they really that common? I saw only 1 program listed for Massachusetts with tution at over $30,000 per year. And Massachusetts has TONS of top tier hospitals.
I already have my BA in another subject, so I would prefer not to get an Associates degree if I do not have to.
Ew yeah an associates program seems quicker and easier. I could probably get credit for the liberal arts classes I already have too.

Well, I had cards made up and passed them out to all sorts of offices and businesses, but, now I don’t know what to do, if they call, because, I really don’t know what to charge to clean an office or a real estate property and I have to register this, so I won’t get in trouble. I didn’t know I had to do this! It kind of makes me angry, because all these illegals are working and getting paid without even being legally here and they don’t have to report a thing! PLUS, they get all sorts of aid on the side from our own government! So, why can’t I just clean to catch up on my bills?! I have NO gas on to heat my house and it’s cold outside! I barely have food to eat here and I see illegals with shopping carts overflowing with food! What is going on in this country?! What’s wrong with this picture? I mean, I went to dental tech school and graduated, only to be told mostly all those jobs went to NAFTA! (*To places like, Guatamala, etc…) But, I am willing to work, so I won’t lose my home!!!!
