What courses, and if I went to school full time and got the grades, how many years would it take me to get there?
And, I s’pose an equaly important question, how much do vet-techs usualy make?
I’m trying to get my life in gear, and the only career related desire that has followed me forever is the want to work with animals. Tell me what I’d need to do.
I guess I should also add that I only have my GED. Will that be a huge setback?

I’m interested in getting a job in ultrasound and am having a hard time finding a school. I live in the tampa bay area and have come across one school (sanford brown..which is really really expensive). Does anyone out there know where ultrasound techs get their training?!?! I cant imagine that they all went to one school!! THANKS!!!!!
all my life I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian. I’m still in highschool but my counselor has asked me to start thinking about colleges. Right now I’m just planning on going to the local community college but I do want to go onto something bigger.
I don’t really understand anything about colleges really (community colleges, 4 year, graduates, undergraduates, any of that).
So if I go to the community college, and then go to a bigger university, would I try to get into a veterinary college after? Would I have to do that for just Vet Tech. too? and approx. how many years does it all take?
I also understand that veterinary colleges are really hard to get into. I have a 5.5 gpa and I’m ranked in the top 20 of the students at my school. I’ve taken all honors classes I possibly can fit. And I’m looking into volunteering at a shelter now.
my schools gpa system is really different i guess. I’m not sure what it’s out of but honors starts at 4.5 and high honors is 4.75 and up.
Okay, well I’m 16 and working on getting my GED, I’d really love to become an ultrasound tech, but I have a few questions.
Can I still go into this field with only having my ged?
What should I/would I need to major in?
I’ve heard you have to major in something, then go to school for the ultra sound tech is that true? If so what is it?
And How long in total would I have to be in school to finish as an ultrasound tech?
I’ve tried to look it up on google but every page says something different.

I’m a pharmacy tech looking to go farther in life. I was told a drug representative is a good idea.. but I cant seem to find a school that has a program for it in michigan. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? or what I’m supposed to be looking for?
Vs going to a campus, to become a Vet tech?
My boyfriend is looking into going to school to become a Vet Tech. Every time we do a search, we only come up with online schools. Is this acceptable to employers? The one we are looking at has hands on experience along with the online classes. If you have any information you could give me would be great! Thanks!
These are schools located in various parts of the United States that primarily give instruction on various areas of technical fields in the job industry today, such as in electronics, CAD, computer networking, information technolgy. There are two year degree programs and there are four year degree programs. The first leading to an Associat’s degree and the second leading to a Bachelor’s degree.
Does any one know the schooling requirements to be an x-ray tech? If so whats the best school for that course?

I have loved animals as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to go to college for Wildlife Biology specializing in BIG cats. My original plan was to join the ROTC, get four years of schooling in, than join Peace Corps for the Master Degree program, an than use my 4 years of paid college from ROTC to get my Doctorate. I wanted to Double Major in Wildlife Biology and Environmental Science. I have decided that for now I just want to be able to work with big cats whether at the zoo or elsewhere. I still plan to continue my education, but what is the absolute minimum education I must have to be able to work with these magnificent animals and get a little experience of what I may be getting into?
