I’m currently in college, but have to wait another year to get into the program of my major (Surgical Technology). In the meantime, I enrolled in an online program to become a pharmacy tech because I no longer wish to remain in my current job. Has anyone else taken an online course and had any luck finding a job in the field they studied? Is it easy to gain employment when you have studied online instead of in a traditional classroom setting?
Currently, there are no colleges in my area that offer Pharmacy tech programs, so my only option was to study online. Any answers?

i’m planning on studying for it on my own. also i heard that it is possible for me to get a job with a pharmacy before taking the exam and they would help train me for it. is that true? i’m really interested in becoming a pharmacist tech so any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am graduating from rad tech school in June and I absolutely hate the field. I only continued because I was too far into the program (money and time wise) to quit earlier.
I don’t want the entire education to be a waste, and I was hoping I would start to like it better, which never happened. I also have a B.A. in sociology, and have worked in the finance department of a hospital, so if there is any way to merge the RT degree in there that would be great.

I trying to find a new career path. Right now I work in a office an absolutely hate it!! I am very interested in becoming an X-Ray Technician, but the problem is I cant stand class rooms. I know that sounds stupid but I have really bad panic attacks in large class rooms. Any advice would be awesome!! Tanks!

Im a Chemistry major and Im looking into a career in Pharmacy in California. I want a Pharmacy technician job real bad but my only job experience is as a busboy at a restaurant. I wanted to know if I want to get a Pharmacy tech job should I take a course first or should I just try taking the PTCB exam first. Im good at math and have experience in lab work from my Chemistry classes. I bought a practice exam book to help me study for the exam.
Are indian tech. reps taking classes to cover up their accent?

i’m 17, and i’m looking at colleges/tech schools for dental hygienist. i have my ged, which is accepted, but i don’t know if colleges/tech schools will accept you if you’re still underage. i don’t see why they wouldn’t, but i’ve heard otherwise.
I work at a vet as an unlicensed vet tech is there any way I can get a license without taking classes?

I know this is somewhat subjective as it depends on you afsc and deployments, but in general when do people start?
(I’ve heard from some airmen that its once you get to you 5 skill level, is this true?)
