What’s better job-market wise? X-Ray tech or NMT?

I’m a recent grad with a BA in Psychology. Unfortunately I choose a competitive field to go into, and I no longer wish to further my education in this field as I once did. I’m very much contemplating going into the medical field in different avenues. I’ve thought about NMT and X-Ray tech. NMTs make more here in FL. I know the market is horrible for ALL jobs, but I hear it’s very hard to get a job as an NMT. Is it any different for an X-Ray tech/Rad? Should I stay out of these fields altogether? I didn’t want to go the RN route…anyone have suggestions as to which is better employment wise/money wise? Thanks.

I’m starting tech school in a few mouths, and i’m majoring in technology. Can i work for a company or have my own? Can i go to school there for two years, then a regular college for another two years and start my job?

Im almost 14 nd am really excited for college already. Im starting h.s. next year and have been accepted to my local tech school for medical science. I want to be a biomed engineer. would it be better for me to attend a regular public school or the tech school pre-college program for a better chance to get into harvard or yale.
fyi: i have really good grades.
i’m thinking about becoming a surgical tech. what’s the average salary of one?

how long is the schooling? is it 2 years for an associates and then the surgical program or can you just start the program right away? any advice?
whats the difference between vet tech programs that are credited by the AVMA and the ones that are not?

they say there are only 5 vet tech schools in texas that are accredited by the AVMA. The school i’m looking at going to is not acredited by the AVMA and i want to know if it is a big deal that it is not

Long story, here we go:
I enrolled in EMT classes about a month and a half ago. I thought it would be something I would really enjoy. Also, for five years I’ve been trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, enrolling in the course made me feel I was getting some direction. The class is extremely hard, and I’m having serious doubts about the class. The pay sucks, and I’m not sure it’s something I want to do. Like the job isn’t right for me. I feel my spiritual gift is mercy, and I’ve found EMT’s actually don’t have much mercy and have to be very tough with their patients–not sure I can do that. I don’t want to be a quitter, but I just feel hesitant about the class and I’m not sure if I want to go any further. Several times since the class has started I’ve wanted to quit, and I’ve asked God if I should quit, and I felt God has wanted to keep me in.
Sounds like a no brainer right? Well, I’ve been looking into surgical-technician courses and feel like that’s something I would want to do. The pros outweigh the cons on dropping out of EMT class (which I cringe to think about because once again, I hate quitting because I feel like I’ve failed), and enrolling in the surgical tech program. But I’m not sure that’s the direction God wants me to take. Awhile back I read in the study guide in my bible about God’s direction in our life and career decisions. It said God doesn’t care what direction you go as long as He’s involved. I keep thinking about that, but does God want me to stay in the EMT course? A part of me does think he wants me to stay, but the other isn’t sure.
Any opinions on this would be helpful! I’m tired of stressing and I think some outside opinions will be helpful.

I currently am doing pre reqs to get an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology. I’m thinking that eventually i might want to work in Radation Therapy. Does anyone know whats the process of going into Radation Therapy after getting an Associates as a Radiation Technologist? How much more school is needed in order to do that?

i already went to school for art and that sure didnt help. where i live art jobs are scarce but i cant live without making no money. I want to go back to school. whats best without worrying about getting laid off? …….IT technology, Medical assisting maybe even vet tech or radiology. all these sound good but im not sure. any suggestions?
Ivy Tech sent me info from “state” and “community” colleges. What’s the difference?
