I am a 35 year old mother of 3 with little time for school. I am very interesting in this course but most schools have a waiting list and you have to have prerequisites.

How can I make a water filter for tech class without pre-made filters, and only 1 coffee filter?

Ok were gonna make a filtration system out of any materials that you can find, and you can only use 1 coffee filter and anything else. We can’t use pre-made filters sutch as a fishtank filter. And it has to have 3 layers of filtration, any ideas?

i’m planning on studying for it on my own. also i heard that it is possible for me to get a job with a pharmacy before taking the exam and they would help train me for it. is that true? i’m really interested in becoming a pharmacist tech so any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have a bachelors of science, but have decided to go into the vet tech field. When I used to work in a vet clinic our tech told us that if you worked for a certain amount of time you could just take the certification test and be considered a Tech. How should I go about getting certified if I don’t want to go back to school for 2 more years? Thanks for any help.

I am interested in going into a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. My concern is, do I need to complete the Radiology Technician Program prior to the DMS program? Because a few schools/medical center that offers the DMS Programs like the UCSD medical center, one of there prerequisites prior to getting into the DMS program requirements: Prerequisite #1
Candidates must be a graduate of a 2 year program in either Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy or Nursing and passed the specific registry exam.
After reading that, I was a bit confuse. My main career goal is to complete the DMS program. Will my chances of getting a career in DMS be higher if I were to complete a Rad Tech program and the DMS program, or can I just take the DMS porgram? I hope this all make sense.

I hear some people buy textbooks and study to take the national cert. exam without attending a college. if anyone has became a tech this way what textbooks did you buy(need name and isbn number for book) and was the exam difficult and did you get a state lic to practice. i live in louisiana.

I am a high school student, and I am somewhat interested in a career in pharmacy. I would like to know how a pharmacist works and would like to temporarily work in the environment to gain experience and determine whether or not this is the right career for me and whether to pursue a major in this course. Do I need to have graduated high school to do this? I live in California. Is there any other way I can pursue this? Thanks

hi i recently got a tech deck and its a sugar skateboard co. one and its completly (almost) blue. it looks really cool and so i used nailpolish to make the trucks blue as whell but now i cant figure out how to do the wheels can anyone help me?

I plan to be a pharmacist and right now I’m taking my pre-reqs. I wanted to know if I could get a job as a pharm-tech even if I don’t have the certificate. I know someone whois working at a pharmacy and have yet to complete the program, but they’re in a pharm-tech program right now. Also, is there any thing I could do ( volunteer work, etc. ) that would put me ahead of others who are trying to apply to a pharmacy college?

West Coast Ultrasound Institute in Ontario, CA is offering a course for MRI and you don’t need any experience and you get a certificate in the end. All I want to know is, do you have to be a xray tech first? It doesn’t say anything in the course description about it. Someone please help!!!!!!

I want to become an electrician and im currently a sophomore in high school. I’ve never done well grades wise and im on the verge of dropping out. I was just wondering if it was possible to quit school and just attend classes to become an electrician. I will be turning 18 next year because i repeated a grade and i also want to move out by then and bunk with a couple good friends who are in college at the moment. I know it sounds unrealistic but im at the end of the road.
