Taking Pharmacy Tech classes?

I’m planning to take pharmacy tech and wanted to know if you need to take some other classes before taking this course.

    i took the certification test without classes, i am a certified pharm tech now and i feel that classes are pointless because i am as far as other people i know that took class. classes only help with “some” hands on experience and they can maybe help you find a job, thats about it.

    I am taking the classes, and as far as Canadian schools, there is no classes to take prior to the program itself.
    I saw the comment of that girl above me, who didnt take the classes… i would strongly suggest you to take them. Because for me, its not only hands on experience…. it is easier to do that “certification” exam, and even maybe be Registered Pharm. Tech. And in Canada, soon enough, maybe another 2 years from today… anyone that didn’t take a class to become Pharm Tech, will not be able to work, just like a lot of professions.
