From my experience going to school to be a pharmacy technician is a waste of time, my friend went to school to be one and spent thousands of dollars and now makes like 10 dollars an hour, I would just go to a pharmacy and work my way up the ranks and get the experience, then maybe later you can go to a university and get a degree as a pharmacist, but as far as I know you really don’t have to have a degree for that job, just like dental or medical assistant, just go in and apply at different places, and work your way up.

you don’t have to go to any school to become a pharmacy technician. pharmacies like CVS will give you all the training you need on the job to become a pharmacy technician.
depending on local/state requirements, you may have to take a state exam or the national technician certification exam to become nationally certified and / or state certified/licensed to maintain status as an actual technician, but with the right training, those won’t be too hard.
good luck!

Do not go to school to be a pharmacy tech…like everyone has said it is a waste of time and money. Apply for positions with big names, and they will hire you. Even little pharmacies will train and pay for your certification.
