I am taking an online correspondence course for BCIS at Texas Tech University in order to get my mandatory technology course at King High School out of the way. Will the final grade of the correspondence course count on my transcript and GPA (some people i asked said no, I don’t know if they are right)?

im going to be a traveling MRI tech, ill be doing 3 month contracts throughout the U.S. what are the best states, cities, attractions, etc.
i want a place that has enough stuff for me to do to keep me occupied for three months.
Just looking for some ideas of where to go!

I am 19 years old and got charged with Grand Larceny and Conspiracy to commit Grand Larceny I want to go to school and take Radiography but I don’t want to spend 2 years becoming certified to do something I can’t do because of my criminal background. Does anyone know of anyone who works in this field or something like it, that has a felony one there record?
Is surgical tech a good field to go into?

I am currently in school to become a surgical technician an I hope I am not wasting my time in this field if it will be hard to find work in. I have researched and it is a profession that is expected to grow alot but when I look on on hospitals career websites I see no jobs avail just RN I was gong to go to school to become an RN but the waiting list are forever the test to get int the program is hard and I want my education now may go for RN later but no time soon

right now i’m a CNA and sitll in high school. i’m working on my LPN as WATC right now. and then i’m going to get my surgical tech and WATC to.
am i going in the right way.
if i get my RN it would be a waste of time, cause they won’t hirer you
they can hirer you for cheap as a tech than as a RN
but i will later get it, i would like to teach when i’m older so i will get my masters in nursing
and ya i know they make the same!
but i’m not able to go to my surg tech school yet and i need to be making more than 9 an hour. and it takes less time while i’m doin my lpn.
i’m not fuckin stupid yah know.

I do not know what a MRI Tech is, but I think it is related to X-Rays. So can anyone tell me what this is? Also, any radiographers, radiologists,X-Ray techs can you all tell me what you do also? Also can you all tell me the risks in dealing with X-rays and the risks in your jobs?
Considering education in x-ray tech. How long does this take?

I am retired but don’t look my age at all and in good shape. Must go back to work and want to do something different. How long does it take for x-ray tech. and how difficult is it to get jobs in that area, full or part time. Must decide asap!

I am interested in both of these programs very much and they both have the same amount of school. I would like to know which one gets pay more up front or in the long run? And which one have more job opportunities? Right now I am a legal assistant and I make $33,000 a year but I have always had a passion for the medical field and kinda bord with the legal field now and can not see myself doing this for the rest of my life. I now through time I will work my way up but with the medical field I know there is a need and more money than a legal asst. Which one make more Surgical Tech or X-Ray Tech?

I’m currently enrolled in a Radiography program looking to become an X-ray technologist. I will graduate in about a year and half, and am wondering what would be a good job now that will look good on my resume when I graduate?
